WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PLAY?
Any member in good standing who has completed a minimum of one tournament in the 2009 winter Series (beginning Jan 2009) is eligible to register for the 2009 Spring Championship tournament.
If the total of the number of registered members exceeds 100 players, the final selection will be made according to the following policy.
The field will include approximately 48 boys and 21 girls in the 15 –18 age divisions and 24 boys and 12 girls in the 11-14 age divisions. Participants will qualify based
upon their best finish in any of the other series events. Any member with a Winter Series tournament finish within the ranges set forth below is automatically qualified for the Spring Championship tournament.
? Boys 15 -18: Finish 1 through T5
? Girls 15 -18: Finish 1 through T2
? Boys 11-14: Finish 1 through T3
? Girls 11-14: All tournament winners
A significant portion of each Championship Tournament field is typically made up of alternate qualifiers who have not received an automatic qualification.
To be an alternate qualifier, a CJT member must complete at least one tournament in the 2009 Winter series, i.e., with a final score within the parameters shown below.
Alternates for available spots, in each age division, must be registered for the tournament and will be selected based upon each member’s highest finish, the date of that finish and a qualifying score. There will be no tournament registration fees charged until such time as the member is selected for the tournament field. In the event of ties, successful qualifiers will be determined by earliest date of qualification.
Maximum scores to qualify as an alternate:
? Boys 15-18 division: 170
? Girls 15-18 division: 176
? Boys 11-14 division: 180
? Girls 11-14 division: 185 |
